Volvo UK launches online recruitment portal

In an investment in dealership recruitment, Volvo Cars UK has launched a brand new, online portal to help dealers recruit new staff.

The portal is launched amidst increasing sales, a growing product range and an on-going campaign to recruit 300 new technicians across its UK dealer network by 2020.

Designed to help dealers fill vacancies, the portal’s functionality allows for CV retention and interview scheduling and significantly reduces the administrative tasks associated with finding new people. The service allows dealers to receive, save and retrieve CVs, application forms and cover letters.

The Volvo Recruitment Service will efficiently and cost-effectively allow managers across the 119-strong network to advertise positions, track applications and communicate with candidates. 

Dealers can also create professional job posts using 25 editable templates, place adverts on up to 50 job sites, including the Volvo Cars UK careers site, CV Library, Universal Jobmatch, Reed, dealers own websites and social media.

Dealers also have access to a library of job descriptions and best practice guides, and can create a talent pool of potential candidates.
