UK’s top undergraduate employers 2018-19

Goldman Sachs Group has taken the top spot in a list of the top 100 undergraduate employers in the UK, compiled by RateMyPlacement.

Based on over 4,500 student reviews, the table ranks organisations that recruit more than 20 students a year onto placements, internships, vacation schemes and insights; and which have at least 15 reviews on the RateMyPlacement site.

Goldman Sachs moved up in the rankings this year to first place receiving reviews averaging 8.4 out of 10, on criteria including: amount of responsibility given, whether students felt valued by colleagues, impressions of the company overall, training and development opportunities, and transferable skills gained.

While last year’s winner, J.P. Morgan, fell slightly to 3rd, a new entry from Expedia finds them at an impressive 6th position.  Legal firm CMS jumped from 13th position to 2nd position.

Ollie Sidwell, Co-founder at commented: "Based on the honest feedback of students on placement, internships, vacation schemes and insights, we have been able to create our annual Top Undergraduate Employers Table, ensuring all Top Employers have truly earned their success and ranking by offering amazing work experience!"
