Tribal wins £4m contract in North West

Tribal Resourcing has won the NOWpeople recruitment marketing contract, currently valued at £4m, following a full competitive tendering exercise which resulted in four agencies being shortlisted.

The NOWpeople brand was developed to promote public-sector careers and jobs in the North West.  Nine local authorities - Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan - are already involved, and Tribal's mandate includes potentially extending this to other authorities and public-sector bodies across the North West region.

Keith Thompson, Tribal Resourcing's Manchester agency director, says "We're looking forward to working with existing and potential NOWpeople members to deliver not only tangible savings, but also higher-quality candidates more quickly through the improved use of technology.  Equally exciting is the brief to raise the profile of NOWpeople members as employers of choice."

National operations director Robert Peasnell adds "This is the biggest public-sector recruitment marketing contract in the North West.  It gives us a real springboard to further grow our agencies in the North, and is an excellent end to what has been a great year for Tribal and new business."
