Website director John Salt commented: "At we are committed to delivering consistently high levels of responsive candidates to our recruiters.  We understand that attracting large pools of candidates is important to our recruiters, but we also know that delivering large amounts of quality applications to their vacancies is even more important - and to be able to demonstrate this consistently, month on month, is what has made us the most-visited UK website.

"Our dominant presence across a range of UK websites and search engines work to drive these high volumes of job-seekers to the site; this, coupled with a wide choice of UK jobs, ensures we provide the best place for our recruiters to advertise.  And we plan to continue driving even more traffic to totaljobs in 2009."
