The top 10 cities for job growth: Q1 2018

 

New data from CV-Library, the UK’s leading independent job board, reveals that job growth is strong across the UK, with Aberdeen leading the table.

The research compared statistics from Q1 2018, with that of Q4 2017.

Data found that the nation as a whole witnessed an 11.8% increase in advertised job during this period. The top 10 cities for job growth include:

1. Aberdeen – jobs up 22.2%
2. Brighton – jobs up 18.2%
3. Leeds – jobs up 18.2%
4. Liverpool – jobs up 17%
5. Manchester – jobs up 16%
6. London – jobs up 15.1%
7. Portsmouth – jobs up 14.7%
8. Cardiff – jobs up 12.9%
9. Southampton – jobs up 12.8%
10. Edinburgh – jobs up 12.5%
