The RAD Awards 2015 – all the winners

TMP Worldwide took home the big prize at the 2015 RAD Awards last night, winning the Work of the Year award for its immersive assessment process for Virgin Money, which had previously picked up the award for Innovation.

The awards, celebrating their 25th anniversary, saw an audience of more than 1,100 industry professionals and recruiters gather at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel to see a total of 18 awards handed out by the night’s compere, Jimmy Carr.

As well as taking home the Work of the Year and Innovation awards, TMP Worldwide also won the awards for Best Print Advertisement and Best Employer Website, for its work for Coventry City Council and Rental Cars, respectively.

Other multiple-award winners on the night included AIA Worldwide, which won the Best Graduate Website and Best Graduate Campaign awards for its work for Thales, while Havas People took home the award for Candidate Interaction for its interactive culture fit tool for AB InBev, delivered in partnership with Casual Films, as well as the Outdoor, Events and Experiential award for Direct Line Group’s ‘Make Donny Smile’.

Meanwhile, Bernard Hodes UK won the Candidate Engagement Award for its work for Carphone Warehouse and the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative award for its work for Barclays.

NETEYE also took home more than one award, winning the gongs for Best Integrated Campaign and Best Use of Social for its work for Robert Bosch GmbH.

The panel of judges for 2015, along with the organisers of the awards, were hugely impressed not just by the number of entries for this year, but also by the high standard of work that was seen across all of the categories from organisations of all shapes and sizes.

Peter Clarke, sales director for RBI Recruitment Media and the RAD Awards, said: “The 25-year anniversary of the RAD awards has seen the highest number of entries for seven years, which is an indication that recruitment as a whole is picking up and also a clear sign that the economy is once again back on track.

“What amazes me is how engaged the judges were, and how strict and rigorous the whole judging process continues to be - work really has to stand out if it has any chance of winning. However, at the same time it’s important to recognise the fact that all the shortlisted work was of a really high standard, and had a right to be there – and was also very close to being the final winner. There was huge debate on a number of categories and the detail that the judges went into was immense.”

Anna Eccleston, director of RBI Recruitment Media, added: “There has been an additional excitement this year as we’re celebrating 25 years of this prestigious event.

“What helps the RADs to remain the most respected and important awards in the industry is how the awards and categories continue to change and evolve, in line with how the world of recruitment communications is changing. And based on the number of entries and the incredibly high standard this year, we’ve seen yet again that a RAD Award really is the one to win.”
