The Heist Awards 2019: winners announced

 

The winners of the 2019 Heist Awards, organised by Havas Education, have been announced following an awards ceremony in Manchester last week.

The awards, now in their 29th year, recognise and reward the best work in education marketing.

The evening, hosted by Steph McGovern, saw awards handed out across a total of 14 categories. In each category Gold, Silver and Bronze prizes were awarded, with some entries also being highly commended.

The winners in full:

Best undergraduate prospectus

  • Gold: University of Manchester
  • Silver: Falmouth University
  • Bronze: University of Sunderland
  • Highly commended: Manchester Metropolitan University

Best postgraduate or specialist institution prospectus

  • Gold: Leeds Beckett University
  • Silver: St George’s, University of London
  • Bronze: University of the Arts London
  • Highly commended: University of Stirling

Best student recruitment initiative

  • Gold: University of Hull
  • Silver: University of Sunderland
  • Bronze: Leeds Trinity University

Best international student recruitment campaign or initiative

  • Gold: University of Glasgow
  • Silver: University College London
  • Bronze: Arts University Bournemouth
  • Highly commended: University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University

Best alumni, development or fundraising initiative

  • Gold: Newcastle University
  • Silver: University of Essex
  • Bronze: Loughborough University

Best marketing initiative to promote research excellence

  • Gold: University of East Anglia
  • Silver: London School of Economics & Political Science
  • Bronze: Leeds Beckett University
