The University of Portsmouth are looking to appoint an advertising and media buying agency who will support them in joining up the multiple strands of activity and developing a more sophisticated campaign strategy and approach to deliver a holistic engaging set of activities, that capture the attention of their key target audiences and drive their participation.

The agency should inspire and lead them in the creation of a campaign strategy, that looks wider than the standard set of paid advertising.

Whilst digital and out of home advertising remains a fundamental part of their strategy in order to grow their general brand awareness, they are aware of the growing expectations of prospective Gen-Z students, in their desire for authentic meaningful experiences with brands. With this in mind the University want to explore such areas as experiential, influencers, voice and assisted search strategies, harnessing organic social to support paid social, video, live — as well as having one eye on the horizon.
