Tender: Essex County Council

Essex County Council’s (ECC) current resourcing contract is due to end in September 2019 and they are taking this opportunity to engage with the market, via early market engagement activities, to inform their scope and specification, delivery model and route to market, for the new requirement.

At a high level the current requirements include:

  • Recruitment and selection activity for internal and external permanent and fixed term contract vacancies,
  • Pre-employment and safeguarding checks,
  • Engagement of interims and agency workers, possibly including work-packaging,
  • Access to resource banks via agency supply chain for specific work groups,
  • Access to leading edge resourcing approaches and solutions, supporting delivery of strategic workforce plans, talent acquisition, and resource management activity including the development of talent pipelines.

As part of an early market engagement programme, ECC are inviting key suppliers from the market to attend a Supplier Event in Chelmsford on 20th March 2018, on a first come first served basis, where they would like to share their vision and gain valuable feedback from the market.

It is anticipated that further individual meetings will then take place with interested relevant suppliers during week commencing 9 April.

Expressions of interest should be sent to michell.rush@essex.gov.uk, no later than 12:00 noon on 6th March 2018, providing a brief outline of your experience in the market with regard to the requirement.
