Tender: Department of Culture, Media and Sport

DCMS require a single provider to deliver both recruitment and training services.

Apprentices will be employed direct by DCMS so therefore DCMS do not intend to appoint an Apprenticeship Training Agency.

DCMS must be able to recover the cost of training using the Apprentice Levy.

The intention is to draw down from their levy to award a contract to a training provider that offers value for money. Providers must be able to claim directly from government for apprentices who start the apprentice training after 1 May 2017.

All bidding organisations must meet the ESFA’s rules set out in the Apprenticeship funding and performance management rules for training providers, which can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apprenticeship-funding-and-performance-management-rules-2017-to-2018.

Closing date: 14th July 2017
