Strategic partnership announced between Wave and the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC)

The REC is on a mission to make businesses more successful by helping them secure the people they need. It’s an objective that’s also close to Wave’s heart. So, it makes perfect sense that these two partner to achieve exactly that. In this bold move, Wave will be positioned as the lead provider to REC members in a variety of recruitment technology and marketing services – from website building and design, to multi-posting/job distribution, and from media research, to analytics and media buying.

Wave’s CEO David Jenkins said, “I’m absolutely delighted to announce this partnership, we share very similar objectives as the REC in wanting recruitment businesses to be more successful. What we offer as a business will help agencies attract more clients, better quality candidates and improve their marketing and advertising significantly. I can’t wait to get started”

REC chief executive Kevin Green said “In a market where candidates are scarce but there are plenty of jobs going, recruiters should always be designing innovative solutions to attract candidates. Marketing is an essential part of that and can give recruitment businesses an edge over the competition. We’re delighted to partner with Wave as they have a good track record and a real understanding of the recruitment industry. We know they will provide our members with valuable advice and a great service.”

Wave’s suite of services include a website building capability, DressCode, which combines modern design with strong SEO performance. It also includes WaveTrackR, their flagship multi-posting technology that provides real time media recommendations on where to advertise and overall advertising performance.

Kevin concluded: “We wanted to build something that helped recruiters to know where they are getting ROI on their job board advertising, and more importantly, where they should be advertising depending on the position. The profile of a candidate on a job board is constantly evolving; what worked last time might not this time, so we need real up to date information on where hires and applications are coming from, WaveTrackR gives you that information. Currently the system is only available to recruitment businesses, so we’re really flying the flag for the recruitment market – and giving our clients the edge over inhouse teams and companies recruiting directly.”
