SmartSearch goes from strength to strength

SmartSearch goes from strength to strength

Six years ago, jobsgopublic created SmartSearch. They wanted to provide a more affordable alternative to executive search consultancies. So, they created a multi-platform approach that combined search, advertising and marketing in one package – to attract both active and passive jobseekers.

Fast forward and now, in October 2017, they’re already celebrating the fact that they’re working on a record number of campaigns. They must be doing something right.

Figures for 2017 show that they’ve had 46,013 vacancy views, 582 applications and made 36 appointments. Their post-campaign surveys are also reporting 100% customer satisfaction, with all respondents stating that they would recommend the service and use it again themselves.

And with testimonials like the below, it seems they’re really building on their vision to deliver cost effective solutions for this particular area of the market. Not bad for a six year old.

“At a point of such dramatic change for us, it was so important to find a Chief Executive who fully understood the direction and vision of our council. The advice and guidance provided by Smartsearch on such a key appointment was invaluable and ensured we got the best from the campaign. The high calibre of our short list made it a really difficult decision in the end. They also developed a dedicated microsite to support the process. We were delighted to make a successful appointment, saving a considerable amount of money in the process, and would definitely recommend this great service to others!” Shona Mason, Head of HR & Organisational Development, Epsom and Ewell BC

“As a new business, it was important to find the right candidate to take on the influential role of Chief Executive. The briefing filled us with confidence that SmartSearch really understood what we were looking for. By choosing SmartSearch we were able to reach an international audience that we would not have been able to if we had advertised in more traditional ways. As a result, we had a selection of 7 strong candidates to choose from.’ Paul Bullen, Director for Delivery, Voice

“We knew this would be a challenging campaign. The previous post holder was highly respected in the field and we thought it would be difficult to recruit a replacement. SmartSearch were given a tight timescale and still delivered a strong shortlist of applicants from around the country.” Paula Hewitt, Lead Director for Economic and Community Infrastructure & Director of Commissioning talking about their campaign for recruiting a Managing Director.
