Ri5 Fantasy Football League – Back Again

Congratulations go to Neel Patel of JobsGoPublic for winning the Ri5 Fantasy Football League season 2016/17. His 2,312 points gave him a seven point cushion over OnlineMediaChumps (Dom Sumners) who had won the league for the previous three seasons.

A high scoring last two game weeks of the season brought Neel 269 points versus Dom’s 258, enough to clinch the title. The two runaway leaders left the rest of the league a long way behind. Danny Frondigoun (2,249) a further 56 points behind in third with Toby Palmer (2,219) and Steve King (2,216) making up the top five.

Ri5’s own entries are yet again not able to trouble those at the top – the highest finisher this year being Spike Turner (2,115) in 16th position.

Thanks to all 83 entrants. With just 82 days until the new Premier League season (at time of writing), it’s time to forget about the guard of honour and start planning for next season. Will Aguero still be first choice up front for Pep? Will Sanchez stick around (indeed will Arsene be in charge of Arsenal)?

We hope you’ll all be back for 2017/18
