Recruitment Business Awards 2017 winners announced

The winners of the 2017 Recruitment Business Awards were announced last night, with Tonic and Chatter Communications taking home the evening’s big prizes.

Tonic walked away with the Creative Grand Prix for its work for Police Now, and also scooped the award for Recruitment Advertising Agency of the Year. The agency had earlier been awarded the gongs for Best Outdoor/Special Build/Experiential and Best Innovation for its work for RBS, and Best Graduate Campaign, Best Video/Animation and Best Website for Police Now.

Chatter Communications, meanwhile, won the Chairman’s Award for its work for Sky Betting & Gaming.

Another big winner of the evening was Pink Squid, picking up awards for Best Digital Activation, Best Campaign and Best Copy for its work with Boots UK.

The awards ceremony, held at Manchester’s Midland Hotel, recognised and rewarded advertising agencies and recruitment firms based in the UK or Ireland but outside London – businesses based in London were able to enter, but if their client’s headquarters are based outside the M25.

Other agency winners on the night included Talent Works International, ThirtyThree and Havas People.

This year's winners, including the winners of the business categories, can be found at the awards website.
