PwC announced as headline partner for NUE Awards Tenth Anniversary

RMP Enterprise, organiser of the National Undergraduate Employability (NUE) Awards, has announced that leading professional services firm PwC as their headline partner for their 2019 event.

The Awards - celebrating its 10th anniversary this year on 1st March at 155 Bishopsgate, London - showcases and rewards excellence in undergraduate employability across employers, students and universities in the UK. Being the only undergraduate specific awards in the market, the NUE Awards provides a unique platform to celebrate the amazing work taking place in the sector, and to recognise those who are making a difference to the careers of young people across the UK.

Attended by over 500 people, this year’s Awards include trophies for Best Placement Student, Best University Placement Service and the Top Undergraduate Employer 2019. The Awards also provide an opportunity for the industry to hear the latest insights, including talks from Stephen Isherwood, Chief Executive of the Institute of Student Employers. This year’s special guest speaker is Olympic Royalty, Col. Dame Kelly Holmes DBE who will take to the stage to share her incredible journey.

Cathy Baxter, Early Identification Talent Leader at PwC, commented:  “At PwC, our undergraduate work experience programmes are central to our success. Our aim is to build lasting relationships with students throughout their studies and beyond, to support our future graduate talent pipeline.

"We are extremely proud to be the Headline Partner for the NUE Awards in their tenth year, as it’s hugely important to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of all stakeholders who work so hard within the industry. A huge congratulations to all the finalists - and we wish them all the very best of luck!”

Oliver Sidwell, Co-Founder at RMP Enterprise, added:  “We’re thrilled to continue our ongoing relationship with PwC. They first supported the first NUE Awards back in 2010 and have continually supported the event and undergraduate employability throughout the journey over the past ten years.

“It’s incredible to see how the event has grown; from a lecture hall in Oxford Brookes all those years ago, to the biggest undergraduate employability event in the UK. I’m excited that the NUE Awards will bring the market together again to reward and celebrate best practice across all stakeholders driving forward undergraduate work experience.”
