Personnel Today Awards 2017 winners announced

 

The winners of the 2017 Personnel Today Awards were announced last night at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, with The Metropolitan Police Service taking home the evening’s big prize, the Overall Winner Award.

The force had previously won the Award for Diversity and Inclusion and Graduate Scheme of the Year Award for its Police Now initiative, at an evening hosted by comedian Ivo Graham and TV presenter Sue Perkins.

The night’s other winners included London Borough of Enfield, which took home the Award for Innovation in Recruitment, and Kerry Foods, which won the Employee Engagement Award.

The individual awards for HR Director of the Year and Emerging HR Leader of the Year were won by Vicky Williams of the Lawn Tennis Association and Selina Rothery of CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, respectively.

A total of 21 awards were handed out on the night, covering a range of HR disciplines and culminating in the Overall Winner being chosen from the individual category winners.

Award for Managing Change: BAE Systems

Award for Excellence in HR Through Technology: SAP UK

Graduate Scheme of the Year Award: Police Now

Employment Law Firm of the Year Award: Anthony Collins Solicitors

HR Consultancy of the Year Award: Cubiks

Award for Excellence in Learning & Development: Anglian Water

Emerging HR Leader of the Year: Selina Rothery, CBRE Global Workplace Solutions

Award for Excellence in Public Service HR: British Business Bank

L&D Team of the Year: TrustFord

Award for Innovation in Recruitment: London Borough of Enfield

Overall Winner Award: Metropolitan Police Service
