Penna: Toni Hall promoted to Director Public Sector

Penna has announced Toni Hall’s promotion to Director of Public Sector for Executive Interim. Her appointment is the latest step in a stellar interim management career with the firm.

Toni joined Penna 7 years ago, delivering an award-winning service from day one. The Interim Management Association named her as Consultant of the Year and she was twice voted the leading executive interim consultant in the Institute of Interim Managers survey for 2 years running.

Under her leadership Penna’s public sector interim business has grown from a 3 to 30 strong team, voted in the top 4 leading interim management teams in the Institute of Interim Management survey for 5 years running.

During this time the executive interim offer has diversified from a solely local government focus to a holistic service operating across the broader public sector. Specialisms now include housing, higher education, finance and HR.

Toni advances an approach to interim management that is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She has been a prominent national spokesperson for issues including the IR35 legislation – working with the HMRC steering committee, lobbying government and providing industry-leading advice for her interim community.

Commenting on her promotion, Toni said: “Honesty, integrity and trust is at the heart of all Penna’s work. My new role gives me further scope to promote this partnership approach to a broader client base within interim management. It’s a real privilege to be able to lead a fantastic team of consultants and to work alongside some inspirational colleagues at Penna. In my new role I now look forward to supporting, alongside our team, all our public-sector clients with their recruitment challenges”.

Julie Towers, MD for Penna said “Toni is passionate about supporting clients and candidates and she lives and breathes the Penna values. Leading the wider public sector interim business is a natural progression for her, and I am confident she will continue to be successful in her leadership career. Interims and clients alike value her skills and experience, and she has made Penna a ‘go to’ brand for executive interim solutions”.
