National Undergraduate Employability Awards 2017 winners announced

The winners of the National Undergraduate Employability Awards have been announced, with a range of employers and universities recognised for their contribution to the undergraduate market.

Employers were rewarded for their efforts in tackling obstacles such as diversity and student engagement on- and off-campus as well offering paid employment opportunities.

The awards, now in their eighth year, were attended by over 500 graduate recruiters, university representatives and students, with presentations by AGR chief executive Stephen Isherwood, director of student Life at the University of Manchester Dr Paul Redmond, and double Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington OBE.

Oliver Sidwell, co-founder of awards organiser RMP Enterprise, said: “Having received over 500 entries for this year’s NUE Awards, we have been able to gain a real insight into the invaluable contributions and incredible achievements of our many stakeholders in the undergraduate work experience market. It’s safe to say all our winners across the three categories have gone above and beyond to exceed expectations.

“A huge thank you to all of those who nominated this year and congratulations to our finalists and well deserved winners.”
