The BMJ Awards

The BMJ Awards took place on the 4th of May in the Park Plaza, Westminster. Hosted by Stephen Mangan, more than 650 people attended to celebrate the work of the best healthcare teams from the frontline who often go unnoticed.

The BMJ showcases the winning teams who are dedicated to working hard to make care more effective, efficient, and accessible.


RCNi, a unique source of nursing news, opinions, clinical practice and CPD, secured a silver award in The Content Team of the Year category at the the British Media Awards 2017.

The event was held at the London Hilton, Park Lane, and the awards were presented by TV’s Fiona Bruce. The category winner was upday, Samsung’s news app.

RCNi beat Archant (the New European newspaper and website), Centaur Media (Marketing week), Dennis Publishing (, Future plc, Refinery29UK and

RCNi editorial director Graham Scott said: ‘This is a great accolade and I’m very proud of the team.’


After 4 years of consistent wins, Jobsgopublic secured two awards at this year’s PPMA Awards in Bristol.

The first online job board dedicated to the public and not-for-profit sectors, they picked up an award in the Best Frontline Recruitment Campaign category for their work with Bath and North East Somerset Council’s Highways and Traffic service.

They also took away the award for Best Value for Money Campaign for the first phase of their social work recruitment campaign for Cambridgeshire County Council.

Jobsgopublic have now further partnered with the PPMA for their Let’s Talk Digital event in the Midlands during which guest speakers will discuss the role of digital media in the workplace.

They will also be hosting a breakfast networking event alongside the In-house Recruitment Network. The fourth event of its kind hosted by the partnership will provide an opportunity for HR and Recruitment professionals to discuss current trends in the public and charity sector.

Jobs4 Network have launched their new site,, with a unique and quirky campaign.

Their "Recycled" bike campaign saw bikes wrapped in "sticky tape" placed strategically around London and cities throughout the UK.  Levels of interest in the bikes has been high, with Managing Director, Lee Tourig, commenting “We’re really pleased with the creative approach and feedback from this unusual marketing method”.

The Tab Future 100 in association with Barclays

This nationwide search set out to find and celebrate the young women currently breaking the glass ceiling at university and who are set to achieve great things in their careers. 

With gender equality a huge topic at university, The Tab prides itself in being at the forefront of the conversation through the promotion of equal rights for young women. The Future 100 platform gives high achieving, aspirational, young women at university a stronger voice and improved opportunities.

Split into 3 distinct phases, the campaign launched with a nationwide, online voting system to identify the future 100 female leaders. Students were encouraged to vote and the candidates were then celebrated in a digital, interactive league table, profiling each entrant. The Top 30 were then recognised at a mentoring event held at Barclays HQ.

The campaign generated 215,000 votes, over 40,000 social engagements and more than 750,000 page views.


From its Yorkshire Head Office, Fonemedia has launched a comprehensive range of training courses under the banner of ‘The Ministry of Mobile’. Providing courses for Agencies and Clients on mobile in the Recruitment and Education sectors, the courses are free to agencies and are designed to give client-facing staff the understanding and product knowledge required to make an informed decision about using mobile as part of the staff / student recruitment process.
