The FT

The FT announces the launch of Financial Talent on, giving recruiters an opportunity to reach elusive passive candidates who use regularly as part of their current role and finance industry professionals who are registered as job seekers on the database.

On September 27th and as part of its diversity in the workplace series, the FT will publish the latest report on Women in Business. The report is held in conjunction with an FT Live event in Kings Cross, Women at the Top, which is expected to attract 150-200 senior business women. The next diversity report, on October 26th, will focus on LGBT and publish the Outstanding Top 100.

Employers interested in promoting their diversity and inclusion successes in the trusted and credible environment of an FT report should get in touch with the FT team.


CV-Library has ranked in The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table, with The Sunday Times reporting that the company has seen sales grow by 42.03% over the past three years. The company also picked up ‘High Growth Business of the Year’ at the UK Private Business Awards.

The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private tech (TMT) companies with the fastest-growing sales over the last 3 years.

The site has also announced that its online database now boasts 12 million registered CVs, making it the largest CV database with the highest number of registered CVs in the UK, with an average of 200,000 British professionals registering with the site month on month.

In addition, CV-Library is continuing to solidify its position as the market leader as it continues to break records when it comes to site visits, job applications and vacancies. The site has already been named the UK’s ‘Best Job Board’ at the 2017 Global Recruiter Awards.

S1jobs, Scotland’s most successful recruitment platform, has recorded record visitors. Traffic soared to the highest level since January 2016, with over 70,000 visitors recorded on their site in just one day (Wednesday 13th September), following the launch of their new campaign ‘s1jobs gives you the horn’

Their campaign tagline set out to shock, cut through the crowded digital space and grab the attention and imagination of a younger digital audience. The campaign utilises the Unicorn, Scotland’s national animal, to tell stories of bravery, uniqueness and exceptionalism acts as powerful motivation for Scottish job seekers to take the leap and find a better job.

The new adverts have already ranked up over one million views on social media in just three weeks.

The Big Choice

The Tab

Tab Media, the publisher of The Tab, has announced a $6 million Series A investment round led by News Corp. The investment will fund further expansion, original reporting and training for young journalists.

The Tab was founded by students at Cambridge University in 2009 and now runs a student news network with local editions at more than 80 universities in the US and UK. Known for running innovative content-led campaigns with clients such as EY, Barclays, Teach First and JPMorgan, the company is also launching a job board, The Tab Jobs, in October.

Let me get this right. Currently CV library have around 52% of the working population of the UK with a registered cv on there. By my calculation (and the volume of people signing up per month) the entire working population will be registered in the next four and a half years...hmmmm.

Anonymous. I'd guess, and I may be wrong, that CVs aren't being removed after a period of dormancy. So it may be that if you've ever uploaded your CV then it'll still be sitting there in the database. Which may go some way to explaining the overall numbers, but the growth still seems impressive
