Mark Dickinson now TalkTalk’s Chief People Officer

Formerly Talk Talk’s People Director, Mark Dickinson has been appointed the company’s new Chief People Officer.

TalkTalk announced the appointment ahead of Group HR Director Nigel Sullivan’s move to Bupa next month.

Taking responsibility for all Group HR activity, including overall strategy, Mark steps up from his role of People Director for the group’s consumer arm, to oversee all people elements of TalkTalk’s strategy to become the trusted value champion in the telecoms sector.

That includes a cultural development programme to drive colleague engagement through a reinvigorated purpose and values.

Mark will also take the lead on developing leadership, further building the organisation’s reputation as a destination employer and advancing the inclusion agenda.

This is all at a time when the company is in the final stages a move to a new campus in Salford Quays that will see the amalgamation of two separate offices into one, state-of-the-art working environment that takes advantage of Greater Manchester’s status as a major technology hub.

Since joining the company in 2009, Mark has also held the role of Head of Employee Engagement.

Mark says “I am hugely excited about the year ahead and about working with the team to ensure we continue to make TalkTalk a great place to work. TalkTalk’s people are at the heart of its strategy and we have a busy year ahead as we continue our focus on evolving our culture, driving increased customer satisfaction and business growth.”
