Jobsgopublic asks is age just a number when it comes to recruitment?

In an age where we can’t recruit someone based on their (cough) age, it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t understand our market. If you’re trying to target candidates of all ages, you need to talk their language. To advertise in their ‘space’. And to push their motivational buttons. And nowadays, these are more different than ever.

Partnering with PPMA, Jobsgopublic decided to investigate exactly what makes people of different age groups tick. And, to start, they’ve taken two very distant age groups – the 16-24s and the over 50s.
