ISE announces Recruitment Conference 2018 line-up

The Institute of Student Employers (ISE) has announced the line-up for its annual Recruitment Conference, with Professor Steve Peters, consultant psychiatrist and author of the best-selling The Chimp Paradox, headlining the conference.

The two day event, which takes place Celtic Manor Resort in Wales on 9 and 10 July, will also celebrate the ISE’s 50th anniversary. As well as plenary sessions by industry experts, the conference offers breakout seminars and opportunities to network. The event will conclude with a gala awards dinner

Professor Peters’ session entitled “optimising performance in graduates through emotional skill development” will cover the functioning of the mind and the rules by which it operates. He will explain what emotional skills are as well as how they can be acquired and used to optimise performance both professionally and personally.

Stephen Isherwood, Chief Executive at the ISE said: “Our annual recruitment conference offers a fantastic opportunity to get together with like-minded professionals to discuss, explore, and better understand the challenges and opportunities facing our industry. Content will cover both apprentice and graduate perspectives, making it a must-attend event for universities, employers and any one interested in the recruitment of early talent.”
