Guardian University Awards 2018: finalists announced


The Guardian University Awards 2018 finalists have been announced, ahead of the awards ceremony due to take place on 24th April 2018.

Entries were invited from UK universities and university professionals across 15 categories, which were then shortlisted and evaluated by an expert panel.  Nominations for the sector’s Inspiring Leader will be voted for by readers of the Guardian Higher Education Network.

Judges assessed each entry for:

  • Innovation – what makes it new, unique and inspiring?
  • Delivery – does it offer excellence in planning, teamwork, partnerships and value?
  • Impact – what difference has it made, within the university and beyond?
  • Evidence – are the claims made in the submission supported by evidence?
