Guardian Public Service Awards winners announced


The Guardian hosted its Public Service Awards at a London ceremony this week.

The awards celebrate outstanding projects, teams and leaders chosen by the judges for care, digital and technology, diversity and inclusion, health and wellbeing, housing, learning and development, recruitment & HR, transformation, and leadership excellence.

Ten individual category awards were presented, with Cheshire West and Chester’s library service team taking home the the prize for overall winner.

Meanwhile, Annette Smith of Morecambe Bay food bank was named Public Servant of the Year, an award voted for by Guardian readers.
