Focus on diversity

The next Recruitment Society event, scheduled for the evening of Wednesday 25th March, will look at the impact of diversity on the UK recruitment industry.

The event will be held at the offices of law firm LG at 4 More London Riverside, London SE1 2AU.  (The location is near the new City Hall, and the nearest tube/rail link is London Bridge.)

The presentation will be given by Isabel McKenzie and Mike Burnitt of HR consultancy McKenzie.  Their company has "been at the sharp end of the diversity debate far longer than most organisations", having worked with a wide client base in the field for more than twenty years.

Using case-studies and practical experience, they will provide "a no-nonsense presentation focusing on essential knowledge and practical tools which deliver positive change in organisations."

The session, which aims to provide an introduction to both the legislative and non-legislative dimensions of equality and diversity, will be delivered in "an interactive, fun and memorable style using McKenzie learning products and techniques."

As usual, the event will start at 6:00 for 6:30pm, with the formal session followed by refreshments at around 7:45pm.

Attendance is free for members and associates, and costs £25 a head for non-members, guests and new contacts.

If you plan to come along, please email Richard Taylor at admin@recruitmentsociety.org.uk or alternatively book and pay online.
