Diversity and social mobility headlines this year’s ‘The Big Assembly’ agenda

The date? 8th March 2018. The time? 10.30am. That’s when schools, young people, parents, careers advisors and employers around the country will be gathering to attend this year’s The Big Assembly. It claims to be the largest ever careers webinar and will allow thousands to hear from apprentices and employers via a series of videostreams. It will also provide a platform where questions can be asked from both a live and virtual audience in this interactive broadcast that’s focusing on diversity and social mobility.

Helen Richardson, the Big Assembly Producer and Managing Director of Workpays comments on last year's Big Assembly, "we were bowled over by the excitement and success of The Big Assembly 2017 with over 10,000 people watching the live broadcast all about Apprenticeships. This year is going to be bigger, better and more interactive with an opportunity to put your questions to a panel of apprentices and employers."

The Big Assembly was created by The East Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network, Workpays and GetMyFirstJob, with support from The National Apprenticeship Service and a range of employers committed to Apprenticeships, including degree Apprenticeships.
