Crunch Simply Digital shortlisted for Disabled People’s Choice Award

Swansea digital firm, Crunch Simply Digital, has been shortlisted for the Disabled People’s Choice Award at The Business Disability Forum.  The winner will be announced at the end of November at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office presented by Paralympian (and Master Chef 2018 finalist) Stefanie Reid.

This recognition has come from Angharad’s career progression story. Angharad’s role as an ad-operations executive includes setting up advertising campaigns, optimising them for the targeted audience and to gain as many positive results as possible, as well as summarise and present campaign findings on a range of media platforms. Angharad is severely sight impaired and in Summer 2018 was matched with a guide dog – Tudor.

Crunch have ensured that policies are in place to ensure their employees and clients understand that Tudor is a working dog and there are boundaries which must be followed. The layout of the office has altered to ensure that Tudor has enough room for his bed and toys whilst also accommodating Angharad to ensure that she has a balance of sunlight and shade.

Technical Director, Stewart Crumlish said: “We are absolutely delighted to be finalists along with organisations such as Liverpool FC and community initiatives like Brunswick Park Primary School and the London Borough of Hounslow, for the award. All are worthy winners and should be applauded for their work. Crunch have always ensured that all members of staff are welcomed and made to be part of the Crunch family, Angharad and Tudor are firm members of our family.”

Angharad said: “I truly am so humble to have been shortlisted along with Crunch for this award and I am very grateful for all the support that Crunch have provided to me and Tudor over the past few months as we have adjusted throughout this transition. Tudor has and continues to be the best guide dog I could ever have and everyone in the office absolutely adores him and have made him a part of the Crunch family. We cannot wait to attend the award ceremony. Good Luck to everyone involved!”
