Celebrating success

When jobsgopublic launched 17 years ago, it was the first job board dedicated to serving the public sector. Fast forward to 2017 and it now describes itself as a digital resourcing agency, promising to add value by finding out where clients target audience hangs out online; by making sure these candidates engage with their clients and by helping clients get their recruitment process right.

Knowing that our readers are partial to seeing what others are doing in the market, we were happy to share some recent success stories jobsgopublic have enjoyed with a couple of clients.

First up, Hammersmith & Fulham’s planning services. As a borough that’s thrived in the past few years, Hammersmith & Fulham needed to recruit a number of critical roles to help them continue to succeed in their innovative work.

Jobsgopublic created a microsite that worked hard to show the diversity of work they were doing as well as flag up their future plans. Equally, as their people are their greatest asset, it also needed to get across how much passion their people have for the work they do. To ensure the site got the kind of traffic it needed to generate enough interest in the advertised roles, jobsgopublic also devised a targeted attraction campaign. And it worked. The council has since shortlisted and made offers for every role.

The second campaign of note was with UK Export Finance (UKEF). The team at UKEF approached jobsgopublic as they needed to fill several vacancies for their ICT and PMO teams. Eager to raise their profile in the central government marketplace, they wanted to attract high quality candidates into some reasonably difficult to fill, technical roles.

Jobsgopublic worked with UKEF to come up with a clean, easy to navigate, yet content rich microsite. Not only does it showcase their diverse portfolio of partners, it also outlines their ambitions and opportunities. The site proved to be extremely popular and, whilst early days, UKEF are confident it’s been a success.
