2019 is proving a lucky year for Penna and their clients. They’re nominated for 11 RMAs for work including Website Design, Copywriting, Art Direction, and Campaign of the Year. Their client Dstl is also shortlisted in the Personnel Today Awards for Innovation in Recruitment. Huge thanks goes to their creative teams, and fantastic clients, for continuing to collaborate on campaigns with them.

Their MJ Chief Executive Survey includes annual leadership reflections. CEXs in local government were asked about HR, middle management, transformation and other topical trends. Blackbridge Communications

Blackbridge is on a winning streak. Not only have they won a pitch to deliver Newton Europe’s early talent campaign, they’ve also picked up two ISE awards with Babcock for ‘Best Attraction Campaign’ and ‘Outstanding Recruitment Supplier’. To top it all off, they’ve just been nominated for seven RMAs.

Graduate season is busier than ever as they prepare early careers campaigns for an ever-growing list of clients, including Rolls-Royce, Capital One, BCLP and Babcock.

The team’s been expanding their horizons recently, too. With work on a global employer branding project for International Personal Finance now well underway, they’ve been carrying out research in the UK and beyond. Think Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, Poland and Mexico – where they checked out the beautiful town of Cholula and visited the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City.

Nearer home, their social team keeps growing with Maddie Cartledge joining as a Social Executive. They’ve also just appointed Keshia Thompson to the Board – she first joined as a graduate trainee in 2011.

But it’s not all work, work, work (and cultural excursions). Every month, two Blackbridge folk plan a First Friday event. This month it involved summer drinks and spectacular views at The Aviary.

Talent Works

The last month has been a fantastic period of growth for Talent Works International. In Manchester, they welcomed Harriet Valentine into their Digital team as Digital Marketing Executive, and Chris Berg into their Creative Team, as Digital Designer. These new additions to the team have enabled them to continue scaling up their Creative and Digital offerings.

They also launched their new website, the response to which has been fantastic. It shows off just what their team can do. As well as this they also launched their brand new, free, RPO eBook, to give readers more of an insight into their RPO offering and why they do it differently.

In addition to new hires and the website keeping them busy, they’ve taken on some new challenges with new clients and projects on the horizon.  We’re promised some more exciting news from Talent Works very soon.

It’s been a busy few months at TMP.  Highlights include retaining the Government Recruitment Service contract – following competitive tender and pitch – and winning employer branding & communications projects for Ericsson, Addleshaw Goddard, Saudi Aramco, Vodafone and Maersk.

Their film studio continues to expand and they’re delighted to welcome another full-time film maker to the team – Seb Whyte. Other new hires include Lach Kamenov as UX Producer and Olivia Williams as Client Manager.

The 24-hour challenge for the AA featuring Ant Middleton consumed lots of time and energy across the business – and they’re delighted with the results.

Finally, social stuff at TMP included rounders in Regent’s Park, various BBQs at TCR and a regular film night.

AIA Worldwide

In July, AIA Worldwide announced the exciting acquisition of Perengo – a programmatic recruitment platform. This not only adds to the capabilities of TalentBrew, their talent marketing platform, but also means an enhanced programmatic offering to clients.

In terms of awards, AIA has also been accruing some enviable accolades – scooping gongs at the ISE’s for Innovation in Attraction with M&S, and Best Single Purpose Attraction Activation with Siemens. They have also been nominated for 10 awards in the upcoming RMAs.

With soaring temperatures in July, AIA made the most of their office sun decks to host the annual Summer Party. Celebrating with a class of 2019 theme, the party came complete with yearbook and “most likely to” awards ceremony. Old Skool!

Smart Resourcing Solutions

In September, SRS we will be supporting The Social Mobility Foundation to increase the knowledge and confidence of undergraduates. Their workshop will provide a guide to the graduate recruitment process and share valuable insights into the graduate labour market. Through group discussions and exercises, they will help these students know what to expect and how best to prepare for their future careers.

Jupiter & Sparks

It’s all go at Jupiter & Sparks HQ, they have been lucky enough to welcome a few new clients to their burgeoning list: Yorkshire Ambulance Service, EMIS and Gail's Bakery. And while working on campaigns for that little roster (amongst all the business as usual Employer Brands and internal comms projects) they have also been occupied on an update to the E.ON careers website, the launch of a new recruitment campaign for Sage, and also managed to bag an RMA nomination for their E.ON Grad video.

They also enjoyed a thoroughly awesome day promoting Brand in a Box at Recfest this year. And, yes, there are still ice-pops left over…

August saw Account Manager, Dean, sadly leaving his post at Jupiter to head off to pastures new. While they also welcomed new Copywriter, Tim, to the fold.
