Smart Resourcing Solutions

Smart Resourcing Solutions have had a hugely busy assessment centre simulation season working with a number of established university clients as well as new universities. They enjoyed running two smaller assessment events with the University of Leeds specifically for Widening Participation students which included a one to one coaching session and AQA accreditation at level 3 for each student. Planning is already underway for their 2019 events which are being confirmed now.

Their sister brand, is gaining momentum with a high volume of new student sign ups keen to make use of the resources and templates as well as access to the employer’s insights page. The online employability course is now live, providing graduates with a thorough understanding of how to secure their dream role.

Capp has upgraded its Virtual Reality Assessment Platform to deliver an improved experience.

This delivers premium high-resolution visuals via a more comfortable and wireless headset.

It also has new environments, for instance a meeting room and a conference hall, that allow opportunities for customisation for clients – creating their own business-focused challenges for participants. The advantage of delivering these assessments in VR is that the software does all the hard work – complex, immersive assessments with total consistency, every time.

“Our VR Assessment Platform delivers complex, realistic assessments with consistency and ease,” said Jamie Betts, Capp’s Head of Recruitment Solutions and VR.

“We can create environments it would be too expensive or time consuming to create in real-life, that allow participants to encounter and experience situations for the first time.”

The new version provides output and data such as eye tracking and complete freedom of movement, so participants are able to explore their surroundings, which range from an Egyptian tomb with an analytical challenge to an office reception. The platform is fully modular, and organisations direct candidates to those environments which are relevant for them.

SBW have had a great couple of months. Their TV campaign promoting positive parenting for Welsh Government went live, they developed a new brand for Barts NHS for their sexual health services and ran a digital campaign to promote the services, they produced another film for UHB NHS and are now the content agency for Wiltshire Farm Foods supporting their social team and producing four magazines for them each year. And the cherry on top, they produced their first online game for their client Viridor. A Halloween bring-a-dish night was won by  Designer Hannah and a Prince’s Trust charity dinner at the Concord museum kept them busy socially, and now the run up to Christmas and their party at the Spiegeltent and then a week off for them all.

Jupiter & Sparks Agency

It’s been a great couple of months for Jupiter & Sparks. Firstly, the northern powerhouse agencies have won the Marston’s Brewery account and they’ve been very busy with it since.

They've also been prepping for a trio of campaigns for energy giant E.ON that will be kicking off in the New Year. Also upcoming is a full Employer Brand for Kwik-Fit and a Brand in a Box for Bolton NHS as well as all the business-as-usual work for their ever-growing roster of clients.

Finally, they have heard there’s a nationally recognised holiday coming up and said to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
