Agency Bites

The continued rapid evolution of technology continues to evolve recruitment and employer comms across the board and bodes well for opportunities in 2018. For now, let us get you up to date with who’s been up to what and where – all packed into a 5 minute read!

Also, after a successful pilot last year, Smart partnered up with the University of Hertfordshire to deliver four days of simulations in 2017. The employability initiative event held at Watford FC saw over 1,000 Business and Humanities students participate. It was a huge success, generating great PR for the university with some fantastic feedback from both the assessors and students.

The business is looking forward to working with all of these universities and new clients in 2018 to continue to help set students on the right track to securing high quality placements and ultimately graduate jobs.

SBW reports a busy end of year in Bristol and Cardiff with two large projects.

That includes a TV commercial and branding project for the Department for Education at Welsh Government, designed to encourage parents to talk, listen and play a little more with their young children. It was a challenging brief that required a sensitive and informative approach. According to the focus groups used to test the creative, SBW achieved this and the project is due to go live during the third week of January.

The team has also been busy developing an interactive display for client, Viridor. Containing 6 films and narrative about the range of waste and recycling services they provide, this was launched at an exhibition at the NEC on a stand that SBW also designed.

The team has also been working on a re-brand and website for a special needs charity, a website for a local children’s nursery and running some large nursing recruitment campaigns for NHS clients.
