Grad site bursts into print

Gradcracker, the website for engineering students, is launching a pocket-sized careers guide at this week's AGCAS conference. The 16pp guide covers where to look for jobs, what employers look for in graduates, and how to put together an attention-grabbing application.  The initial print-run is 20K copies.

"Gradcracker spends a lot of time on campus talking to students and it was apparent that many have become disillusioned after poor experiences while job hunting," said Angela Lockhart, Gradcracker's university liaison manager.  "This pocket-sized guide - ideal for even the shortest attention span - helps students better understand the graduate recruitment market and the needs of employers".  A number of universities have pre-ordered copies of the guide and many of Gradcracker's engineering employers have also requested copies to give away at careers fairs.
