Genius appoints Thayer as non-exec

Genius Consultancy, the new Bristol-based recruitment communications business launched earlier this year, has appointed Betty Thayer (pictured) - the former founder and CEO of exec-appointments.com - as a non-executive director.

A former partner at Ernst & Young, Betty sold exec-appointments to the FT back in 2007 (where it now forms an integral part of FT Recruitment Solutions).  She is also a non-executive director of the Appointments Commission, a visiting lecturer at Cranfield School of Management, and chair of TriStart.
