Disneyland Paris recruiting in LondonThursday, 18 June 2009An HR team from Disneyland Paris is visiting London next week as part of a pan-European recruitment drive. On 24th June, the team will be hoping to fill numerous positions in sales, hotel and hospitality. The only requirements are that candidates are at least 18 years old, interested in working for a multicultural company, and have conversational French. In total, seven thousand jobs in diverse trades and professions are to be filled this year, with contracts available for the summer, Halloween or Christmas seasons. There may be opportunities to sign open-ended contracts from September 2009. Disneyland Paris is the number one tourist destination in Europe, with more than 200 million visits since the resort opened in 1992. In total, Disneyland Paris employs over fourteen thousand people from more than 100 countries or nationalities, working together on a single site. "We are constantly seeking new talents in more than 500 vocations," said Jean-Noël Thiollier, director of employment and remuneration. After the French and the Italians, the British are the largest national group at Disneyland Paris. The company recently launched a new recruitment website on the internet to raise awareness of the diversity and breadth of employment opportunities. |
