CVLondon boosts RecruitLondon packageMonday, 14 January 2008Associated Newspapers have added a new service - CVLondon - to their RecruitLondon package, enabling advertisers to contact active job-seekers directly via email alerts. Anyone placing an ad with RecruitLondon - which includes insertions in the Evening Standard, Metro and London Lite plus online coverage through londonjobs.co.uk - is entitled to activate the new CVLondon service. For an additional £100, their vacancy will be emailed directly to all job-seekers on londonjobs.co.uk and its sister site, Jobsite, who have registered to receive job alerts within a given industry sector. The system works by matching an advertiser's job vacancy with candidates' CVs held on the two sites. The technology searches through the 375,000 CVs on the basis of skills, location and salary requirements to identify candidates who meet the role's requirements in full, and then emails the position to them. Using the new service doesn't involve any additional registration or form-filling for either clients or candidates, while the latter can also amend the criteria used to match them to vacancies, thus ensuring that jobs are only promoted to the right people. Evening Standard recruitment manager Mark MacAlesher told Ri5: "We're thrilled to be launching such an exciting product to help recruiters' vacancies gain maximum attention from the candidates that are best matched to the role. With job-seekers having less time than ever to search for their ideal job, emailing them with the most relevant vacancies means increased numbers of quality applications for recruiters." |
