WDAD picks up GRAMIA ... finalists in the National Online Recruitment Awards (NORAs) have been announced ... and the presentation of the last quarter's Ri Fivers is about to take place. RADSRBI's Rads will be presented on 15th January 2009 at Grosvenor House. You have until 31st October to enter. There are 16 categories to choose from, with the winner of each automatically going forward to compete for "best work of the year". Robert Peasnell of Tribal Resourcing is chairing the judges this year. http://www.radawards.com/ WDAD picks up GRAMIAWDAD won the Diamond Gramia for the best recruitment campaign at The Grocery Advertising & Marketing Industry Awards, held at The Brewery on October 2nd. The winning work was for the Whitbread Group, which took the prize ahead of entries from Sainsbury's, Pepsico and Ecolab. NORAsThe National Online Recruitment Awards will be presented in London on 13th November and finalists in each of 10 categories have been announced, including best general jobsite, best niche jobsite, and best online recruitment section by a consumer publication. The "best employer's website" category caught our eye, where Marks & Spencer, Mitchells & Butler and Vodafone will be battling it out with Innocent Drinks and an IT recruitment consultancy, GCS Recruitment. (Amusingly, the GCS home page opens with the statement "Recuitment (sic) is a sales focused, dynamic industry ..." but doubtless this will be corrected before final judging.) Click here for details.
